Company Timeline

  1. 1994

    MECIP (M) Sdn Bhd founded

    Established in Kerteh, Terengganu to serve the growing oil & gas engineering sector in Malaysia.

  2. 2000

    PETRONAS vendor registration

    Achieved registered vendor status with PETRONAS, opening doors to upstream and downstream projects.

  3. 2005

    BEM & MOF registration

    Formally registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and Ministry of Finance (MOF).

  4. 2010

    Expanded to Building & Infrastructure

    Diversified service offering to include civil and structural engineering for building projects.

  5. 2015

    Shah Alam branch office opened

    Established Selangor presence to serve clients in the Klang Valley and central region.

  6. 2018

    Green Renewable Energy division

    Entered the renewable energy engineering market to support Malaysia's sustainability agenda.

  7. 2020

    European overseas representatives

    Expanded global reach with overseas representatives to support international project opportunities.

  8. 2022

    Digatex partnership — Digital Asset

    Strategic partnership with Digatex launched the Digital Asset service line, enabling digital transformation solutions.

  9. 2024

    200+ strong workforce milestone

    Reached over 200 engineers, technicians and support staff across all offices and project sites.
